On Writing

When nothing to write, embrace bad ideas. You’ll never know. It’ll end up so well that you won’t be able to fathom what you wrote. It might even end up as a surprise.

Given that a person is wired to think about two to three ideas per minute, give your mind a chance to express itself. When you write, don’t impress. Express.

Writing in itself is even an expression of a person’s state of mind in a particular period of time. If your ideas get caught up with the stampede of upcoming ideas, write them down. The human brain is just so beautiful that you cannot comprehend its beauty. Heads up, though. Once you get oblivious with an idea, don’t over-express yourself with it. Embrace it; then, move on.

Also, remember this. When the immortal adversary (writer’s block) gets on your way, block it. Or rather, thrash it. Beat it hard!
