I just remember how the movie August Rush puts it:

I love music more than food.

August Rush is described as “a drama with fairy tale elements, where an orphaned musical prodigy uses his gift as a clue to finding his birth parents.”

It’s just so interesting how music transcends the soul’s state of being. Personally, it is something that will never depart from me no matter what. Wherever I may go, and whatever I may do, it will always flow through the streams of my yearning soul.

It’s not a one-way thing. It’s mutual.

More than the language of the soul, it is the essence of my being. It sets an atmosphere that will never return void. There’s a warning though. Music can be either life or death. It’s actually easy to decipher it. After hearing it, feel the aftertaste. The aftershock will present itself. Either life or death.

Going back to the movie, music was the sole reason how the child reconciled with his parents. It was the beginning and the end to their desolation. It was like love which fettered their souls. Which kept them together.
