Walking amidst diversity is fun. You get to meet a lot of people with different viewpoints in life. Some believe that people were brought into existence from the DNA of a chimp. Others believe that humankind follows the lineage of Adam and Eve. Others also believe in reincarnation which originated from their gods.
Nonetheless, each cluster comes after a particular set of beliefs. In other words, they believe.
Believing is faith. Faith is an action word. The proof of your belief is measured with the actions you undertake inspired by the source of your belief. Opposite of faith is fear. When you believe in something, don’t hold back. But of course, know your limits and check yourself if you’re doing the right thing.
Wrong Belief + Strong Faith = Wrong Thing
As you live your life today, think about your belief system. How does it affect your life? Does it contribute to the better good of mankind or does it only supply your egocentric consumption?
Remember to “be-live”. Be. Live in the present.
“The clock is running. Make the most of today. Time waits for no man. Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift. That’s why it is called the present.”
– Alice Morse Earle, Historian
Think again. Believe again.
“..faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.”
– Hebrews 11:1
